They say diamonds are perhaps a girl's best friend, but they are definitely the best friend of jewelers. They are so strong and durable they lend themselves well to intricate design as well as the utilization of heirloom diamonds. I find diamonds that have unusual inclusions or color to be the most interesting, but they are always useful in making jewelry fit to be a future heirloom.

Above is a large 14k ring holding over two carats of heirloom diamonds from different family members. She wanted me to design something 'sci-fi princess' for her.

Brilliant radiant-cut natural yellow diamond enhanced by a well-designed 18k bezel that reflects the rich color of the gold into the stone. Integrated with a substantial shank in 14k white gold with close to perfect white diamond melee.
